I recently had the amazing opportunity to work on a wedding photography branding project and I can’t wait for you to see how it all came together! Abbey Dillard Photography and Videography sets the standard for what all photographers and videographers should strive to be. Abbey is so sweet, cares deeply about her clients, and puts her heart and soul into her work. Abbey is a wedding photographer and videographer based in Northern Virginia and I was elated when she reached out to me to work with her to establish her brand and elevate her client experience through her brand collateral and website.
Coming into the project Abbey felt like her brand was non-existent. She had no consistency in her posts and her website was cringe-worthy! (her words – not mine). She felt that her work as a photographer and videographer had grown so much, but it was not evident in her website at all!
I knew from the first call I wanted to design a brand that showcased her sweet personality and the extreme talent she possessed in her field. The branding needed to romantic, cheerful, and classy and I think together we nailed it!

The inspiration that Abbey gathered through my process was so dreamy and fit the brand she wanted to convey to a tee!
Step 01. The Brand Foundation and Brand Identity Design
During this wedding photography branding project I started with the Brand Foundation, I work through the creation of the color palette, font selection, design the brand identity logos, and bring it all together by showing the client how the styling of the brand comes together.
Step 02. The Brand Collateral and Marketing Materials
One of Abbey’s main goals for her rebrand project was to create an experience for her bride’s that left them feeling knowledgable and cared for. We decided the best route would create a pricing guide she could send to new inquiries that would layout in more detail what was included in her packages as well as how her process works. But most important is to give the potential clients the next steps in terms of booking you and letting them get to know you even more!
We also created a bridal guide for the clients who book her services to provide them an overview of the process, the best tips and tricks for each session, important details and information, and again reinforce the process that Abbey follows with her clients.
Step 03. Custom ShowIt Website
After carefully crafting an elevated experience through her brand collateral and marketing materials we set out to create a website that took her potential clients by the hand, let get to know Abbey and her true intentions (BIG HEART), and show the what they need to connect with her and start the booking process!
I am so thankful to have walked alongside Abbey throughout her wedding photography branding journey and continue to support her in all of her design and business needs!
